Hi Everyone,

I'm a new scooter owner from the Washington, DC area. I've got a Kymco Bet & Win 150, in candy apple red. I actually bought my scooter last August, but didn't have much time to practice riding before the cold weather set in. I've got my motorcycle learners permit, and I hope to get my full motorcycle license soon. Then I can commute to work in all my scooter glory.

My BF's got a 50cc Kymco, so I mock him all the time because mine is bigger. I'm glad to find out I'm not the only Scooter Diva out there. Nice to meet ya'll!

Nano

Welcome to the group! How do you like your Kymco B&W? Is that the model that replaced the People? I've heard great things about them so it would be interesting to hear a first hand version as well.

Hope the weather is looking brighter for you there!

Hi there Nano!

Welcome welcome! I hope you have some warm weather finally! It's tough to see the scoot sitting there, just begging to be ridden... but the weather won't co-operate! I love the looks of the B&W.... always hear good things about them. I bet it won't be long before your bf is shopping for one of his own!

Shellee: It's supposed to be 70 this weekend, so I'll get some riding in. :D I'll be practicing my skills for the DMV motorcycle test...tight turns and swerving in a space about the size of a postage stamp.

SeattleScoot: I really like my B&W (just updated my profile to add a pic) and it's fun to ride. I went out with my neighbor, on his Harley, and I'm sure we looked like a funny pair! But the riders were all friendly and waved as I rode by. The B&W hasn't replaced the People, because I know they have a People 150 and I think a 250. I doubt they'll do away with the People, because it's Kymco's only retro style and those probably sell well.
