LOL, I KNEW which part reminded you of Turtle Vespa....I saw the hat. I guess you call it a hat? But it was just that I couldn't help but notice that other...thing.

EDIT: Ok, I went to the AKC site, and yes, whippets have long tails. I'm better now.

"The tail long and tapering, reaching to at least the inside of the hock when measured down along the hind leg. When the dog is in motion, the tail is carried low with only a gentle upward curve; tail should not be carried higher than top of back."

So, Linda, I think especially now after seeing the video, this begs the question; "How come your turtle has an upside down flower pot like Devo, instead of a fedora like Bogart?" Granted, the color contrast is probably a lot better. :-)
