Last fall I donated my old Bell full face helmet to St.Vinnies as I was resigned to never having another bike.
The inside padding was also flaking off. I was told there were no replacement kits and didn't like the possible dust-mite factor.
On yesterdays test rides I was using a shop helmet made by Nolan.. maybe the N90?..
It was a very comfortable, well fitting .full-face helmet- the lower chin area could be raised up at the click of a button.
It was an older model that was being sold for $269 - the newer ones were $299.
Does anyone know of a similar style of helmet that is less expensive? I know that they can be hugely expensive so that didn't sound
to far fetched but since I have time it doesn't hurt to look for deals.
BTW.. I have to say the Nolan N-90 was a very comfortable helmet. The visor was so clear I had to keep checking that it was in the "down" position. Easy to raise the visor with one hand and also easy to operate the method of raising the chin piece.
It had a tab you slide into a clamp (sorry don't know the term) to secure it at the neck.
