Not a week went by after I got my scooter. Not a WEEK! My husband was so jealous he just HAD to have his own. So back to the dealer we went and now there is a shiny red Buddy 125 parked next to my girl! Once again, Darrell and the folks at Cumberland County Choppers are the absolute BEST! They took good care of us, all 67 times we were there (maybe it was less). One of the best parts about the husband getting a scooter is that since he is the only one that can drive the car, I was the only person who could drive his scooter home! He did take it up the block so it wouldn't be the first ride on it, but still, cool for me! We are both so excited about taking day trips together and cruising! We're a 2-scoot family now! Just need to get the 16 year old son interested, now...

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! My husband and I knew better right from the start and walked into the Honda dealer asking for 2 new Elites. We have an absolute blast on them and I know the two of you will, too!

Great. Enjoy the scooters, but keep the teenager off of them. He will hog them both. And it gives the 2 of you a chance to get away from the kids and be alone together.
Make sure you have a lot of safety gear and that you both use it .
Scoot safely,

I was limited on internet access for a few days and missed this when it was posted. Too funny! And awesome, to be able to ride together now!
Get yourself a good local map that shows county and rural roads. Just like on your bicycle, you can find all sorts of slower ways to get places.
And take advantage of the rides hosted by the CCC gang!

Wish I could, but those Thursday Scoot & Dine's are right during work for me. Friday's my day!

How fun for you both!
So, you have to work to get your son interested? I'd have been thrilled at his age if my parents wanted to teach me.
