Does anyone have pics or instructions on how to properly attached a top case/trunk? Mine rattles and rattles and it almost fell right off on the way home today.
Although I do have space underneath the seat, it would be nice to have the extra storage. I had my next door neighbor call the trunk a 'Mercedes case' because the back of it resembles the back lights on a Mercedes......lol....I thought that was cute. And I have to admit, this scooter does look sharper WITH the trunk on it than not-:)
Just thought I'd ask-:)

What type trunk did you install? Most aftermarket trunks come with an instruction sheet. Make sure you have everything bolted down really tight and enough bolts to hold it steady when it is filled with something fairly heavy. You might need to get some metal bars & screws with nuts & bolts (not sure what these are called--but I needed to buy some when I installed a Vespa trunk on my Honda Met). They are around six inches long and ~ 1 inch wide with slots that you can put bolts through.

Here are a couple of photos-- The first shows how a Givi trunk is mounted to a Vino 125 the second two show how these metal pieces hold a basket to a honda Met- I used these same pieces to mount a trunk to my Met-- maybe they are called brackets?

The trunk is my avatar and I ordered it from Scootertronics. Your pics give me a better view of the bottom though. I think I may have to get some longer screws and washers from Home Depot.
Thanks a lot!

Just make sure to get it on there securely. I was riding my scoot on Saturday into downtown toronto. I happened to take a main road that has many complaining because of the construction on it for the past few years. Unfortunately I never took it before.
About 1/4 of the way there my trunk fell right off the scoot from all of the shaking and bouncing (and i wasn't driving like a mad woman) I was just happy that it didn't open up after it fell as I had just been given $1500 that was owed to us. I was terrified that it would be flying around on the street.
The cars behind me weren't impressed either but thank goodness it didn't cause any damage to any other vehicles and only cracked itself.
