I recently took a long trip and my eyes were beaten raw. I wore good sunglasses and my 3/4 helmet has a good windscreen, but that wasn't enough. I vowed to use goggles for my next long ride. I've looked and I see many brands and types, but I was wondering (& hoping) if anyone has first hand experience in this area and can make a few suggestions. Thanks - Fabini http://www.motofabini.org/

Thanks Jade. The Bobster goggles look good. Many people use the brand. I wish I lived in a place with lots of goggles on hand, so I could go and try different ones on. I'll post with a pic when I buy a pair. Thanks again. - Fabini

I have the Bobster GRX sunglasses in both smoke and clear. They have a removable strap, so once I reach my destination I can remove it and wear them like every day sunglasses and not need to bring my other ones with me.
The foam fits snug to the face and keeps out 95% of the wind. But I do suggest you try them on since everyone has a different face shape. My husband can't wear my style of Bobster while riding since she has a more narrow face, which allows more wind to come through.

A follow up - I just bought two pair or Bobster Cruiser Goggles, one in smoke & the other clear. I like them very much. They fit well on my face and under my helmet's windscreen. They are $12.95 each. Good value for money I say. - Fabini

Make sure that they have good venting, or you will sweat a lot in the summer heat.

A last follow-up: I've been riding with my Bobster Cruiser goggles for several hundred miles and can report back they are great. The fit is very good, air flow adequate, protection wonderful, and value for money superior. They make me enjoy riding more.

Hey John, did you get the goggles up at White Horse? I'm curious what helmet you have?
The last 3/4 helmet I had was an HJC CL-33, with a built on flip up visor. It came down below my chin, and so wind never bothered me. So I was wondering if your visor was made as part of the helmet, or one of the add-on visors that snaps on. Diana, that you briefly met, just got a helmet that would take the snap on visor.
