This steak is a sure hit for the men in your life
Ok, for me it's my husband and son!
One hour before dinner:
Cook some delicious brown/wild rice with beef stock & butter.
Marinate your steak in olive oil & season with salt & pepper. This tenderizes even inexpensive cuts of steak.
2 TBS butter
1 TBS olive oil
1 cup onions and or mixed bell peppers
Sautee until done. Set aside and cover.
In the same pan cook your steak on high heat 2-4 minutes per side depending on thickness. Be sure to turn with tongs or fingers. Do NOT pierce with a fork or knife. This will keep the juices and tenderness in. Add 1/2 cup bourbon while completing the second side. Sauce will reduce and alcohol will burn off.
Pour the sauce over your your brown/wild rice & steak add onion/bell pepper mixture to the side.
