Does anyone know which size bag of lettuce equates to a head of a lettuce?

I'm making Taco Salad and wanted to use the bag lettuce. Does anyone know if I have to use the head of lettuce instead of bagged lettuce?

You can use bagged iceburg lettuce, it does come that way. It depends on the size bag you find, but I would estimate maybe 2 small bags or one large bag would equal a head? Maybe look on the bag if it says.....

When should we show up? I'll bring some bean dip and chips!

I already checked out the Dole website and no info on the bag that I could see.

I prefer romaine or leaf lettuce shredded (more nutritional) ----I would think 2 - 3 bags would be close to a head.. Heads of lettuce vary in size, too.

I realize this is waaaaaaaay late but why not weigh a head of lettuce what ever kind you chose to use then you will know what size bag of letuce you will need to have the same amount.
