Since the end of the riding season around here is drawing near, Shellee and I decided to hit the road and ride up to Stockbridge, MA. We went up though CT to MA and back down though NY, taking a few pictures along the way.
Field of Flags at a Methodist Church in Gaylordsville, CT
Made it to Stockbridge
NY is changing color!

This is was our route.

Ellen, which model Garmin is that? That has a nice size read display or is it enlarged?
Looks like a nice ride and such beautiful scenery. How long does it take you to do that ride?

Its a Streetpilot 330, the display is about 4.5 inches. I got a RAM mount I can use it in the scooter and the car.
I think the ride took around 6 hours, but we did stop a lot.

thanks for the FYI.
Wish there was someone close to where I live to go scootering with.
We are starting to see more scooters closer to "town"

Yeah, I know what you mean. I did 165 miles these past two days and went by myself cause there's nobody around here either. Lots of motorcycles. I could easily find a motorcycle buddy but I'm a clutz when it comes to the clutch on those things and after watching a group that had stopped by a lake where I was, standing around relaxing and drinking beer, I wonder if I want to. Drinking and riding don't mix. Even one as yu know. But everybody's different. The HOGS, now thats a whole different breed of cat. No insults intended.

It's not just the motorcycle crowd. Drinking and scootering appear to be great friends from what I've seen. I won't do it, but then again, I wear gear all the time, so I'm definitely safety girl.
