Thanks! The Empress is beautiful and high tea is amazing! i haven't done it for awhile and am going to have to take my lovely daughter there for tea sometime soon. The legislative building is pretty incredible on the inside too. The little harbor ferries are pretty cool to ride in. My husband and I used t live on a float home in the Esquimalt harbour about 12 years ago (we moved off before our daughter turned a year, too worried about her falling into the drink. If you are wondering what a float home is, it is a fully functional house on top of floats. We had a 1 bedroom 900 square foot home with balcony space all around the top floor. It was 2 stories with the bed & bath upstairs and the cozy kitchen, livingroom, dinning are and laundry on the main floor. The float home was named The Resting Cloud. Anyway I digress, we used to take the little ferry downtown all the time and when we came back the ferry captain would pull up to our house and drop us off. It was a wonderful 10 years. When I get a chance I will actually go to where my old house is moored and take a picture, the sad thing is now it has been turned into a cupcake shop.

Island Diva, Great pics on your blog.. you are doing a fantastic job on blogging . My hubby and I spent 2 nights in Victoria on our honeymoon in 2001 .Took the ferry from Friday Harbor San Juan Islands if I am remembering correctly. Lovely city and the Empress was so wonderful. Our anniversary is this month and going to New Orleans in a few days to celebrate our 10th. Taking the train to chicago from Washington, then flying to New Orleans .The train is not running to New Orleans from Chicago, kind of dissapointed about that part of the trip (tracks under water) memphis area. Any scooter divas live in New Orleans to give me updates on the Mississippi? Thank you for the PR for scooter covers.. love it..............

Too bad your anniversary isn't in June, so you could attend Amerivespa while you're in NOLA. The seat covers you make are neat! I just saw them on Island's blog, with all the gorgeous pictures.

Scootalong I love my seat cover! If you ever get over here let me know. This weekend there is the Capital City Scooter rally, it's a vespa thing here and my hub knows one of the vespa guys and he said I couldn't do some parts of the rally because I don't ride a vespa. Anyway I think I am going to crash the scooter ride through downtown because they don't own the city streets lol. I was down at the beach today & took some pics of the parachute gliders, I am going to post them to my blog tomorrow or Sunday. Anyone have any ideas how to mount a tiara to a helmet, if I am going to 'crash' a scooter ride I might as well do it with style! Because I am still picture challenged on posting here I had a great Monday yesterday and went for a long ride through the farmland on Vancouver Island and up to the astrophysical observatory and took some pics from up there. The pics turned out pretty good. Just wanted to share my home.
