We love to ride on 2 wheels and take pics of our adventures. This thread may contain Evil Kitty rides as well as 2up rides on the Reflex. This 1st one being on the Reflex last Saturday for my Mother's Day ride (weather was iffy for Sunday) For over a year, we've tried to find this Covered Bridge without looking it up online until now. The weather was perfect for a picnic so off we go in search of the Campbell's Covered Bridge which is the last covered bridge in SC. View from the parking lot, I know, we forgot to get the scooter in the pic. Will do better next trip! Sun was really bright on the tin roof! Loved the little creek that flowed underneath. Me on the bridge. Water well that provided the old homestead (now gone) its water. They made a picnic area out of the rock foundation which was cool. Backside view of the bridge. How it looked back in the day. Had an awesome day, ride, picnic by the flowing creek, smelling honeysuckle which is my fave spring smell!

Was in the 70's last weekend, in 80's now but very nice weather! That bridge is only 30 miles from home but took a nice long ride after to burn up a couple gallons of gas, lol

That looked awesome! I was riding upstate with my team a few weeks ago and you can see a covered bridge from the NYS Thruway. I would like to try and find it by backroads. Just have to figure out where it is! There is probably a "covered bridge" website....will have to check!

I think covered bridges are cool and takes you back to a simpler time. Our quest is to find as many as we can! We have some in neighboring states, NC & GA etc. that we want to find and photograph! Oh and just hit Google to search, there are plenty of sites I'm sure you'll find the one with directions! It's fun!

Looked for a website right after posting and found a few! I have not found the one that I saw from the highway but I will keep looking. Maybe "Catskill" would be able to help! I think she lives up that way but she hasn't posted in quite a loooong time.

WoW--where'd you find that? It looks even better in that pic than in person! It spans the long-abandoned Black River Canal (where you can do a short kayak) and the town park is in the background. It's right off nys st. rt 12 so it is not hard to find.
Come on now Evil Kitty,we missed the usual snow on Mother's Day so you have until Labor Day for sure without snow--well maybe!
