We modified the backrest and love it! She always gravitates to something yellow and had to have her picture taken among these yellow wild flowers the other day!

Daisy is pretty. Is the seat height on daisy roughly the same as on a b ruckus?

Stricklyred: The seat height on a Reflex is 28.3 inches and a Big Ruckus is said to be 28.5 inches so they are pretty close. I loved the big ruckus but could not find one at the time we were looking and now that I have the Reflex I like some of the features on it better. There doesn't seem to be any protection from the wind on the ruckus like you have on the Reflex. And it did not come in the colors we wanted.

Itashka: Yes it is the buttrest turned into a backrest. All we did was raise it up with two pieces of angle iron. We had to bend the angle iron to fit each one of our backs and what we found to be comfortable. I found the diagram for it from someone who had done it on a Honda Silverwing but it is made the same as a Honda Reflex. The only difference between mine, my husbands and my friends is my angle iron is a little thinner so it's a little more flexible. It can all be put right back just like from the factory if we choose to do that so no harm done. I have put a link below for anyone wanted to see how it can be done. http://leroybeal.net/motorcycles/silverwing/articles/backrest/backrest.html

Love the yellow Reflex. It's also been my "go to" color choice for the past few years. Wouldn't sign the dotted line for my second scoot until we made sure it came in yellow. My car's yellow too (as you can see behind me in the avatar). What size wheels are on a Reflex ? I've always thought the Reflex was a pretty awesome looking machine (also like your fish ><>).

Yellow is one of my favorite colors, the other being hot pink! I am always drawn to yellow though and just find it to be an exciting color! Out of the three Reflex's that we bought, more people remark on the yellow one being a very pretty scoot! And they also say it was the one that they noticed more going down the road. That means safety to me! The wheels are 12" on the back and 13" on the front. Really smooth ride and a very balanced scoot. I have a fish on both sides of the scoot and three reflective white crosses on the back of my very red helmet. Just thought I would let everyone know who gets near me, that I am a child of the Lord, mess with me and you will have to deal with Him! It also identifies me to others who love Him and I like that!

Me too. Mine's got a holographic fish on the back of the topcase. I like the idea of the crosses on your helmet too.

Very pretty Miss Daisy!!! Nice contrast with the flowers too!! You've given my an idea for some photo ops for this coming spring!! That's the next time that the lovely bluebonnets will be in bloom here in N. Central Texas!! I'll take Lil' Blue out into the Bonnets (if we haven't sold her by then) and most definitely taking the Beast (hope she'll be repainted a dark blue by then!) I'm all for anything that will help the comfort of the ride, so good for you for finding a backrest to fit your needs!!
