Oh no, I wouldn't dare drive there. You can't tell by just looking at the photos but the trafic is crazy. I call it controled chaos :) There are no visible car lanes, filtering allowed...and tourists like myself everywhere. There were scooters to rent but since it was my first time in Rome I just wasn't brave enough. I'd probably end up driving around in circles anyway :) Maybe next time. Btw, driving in high heels seems to be the norm for female drivers in Italy :D

I remember the crazy traffic there too. Yikes ! Don't think I'd be brave enough (or crazy enough) to do it either. :D
