Scooter: 2012 Vespa 300GTV ie

Hi, my name is Jessica, and I recently bought a 2012 Vespa GTV 300 ie after completing my motorcycle training class. Today I got my new jacket and helmet (with discounts from the class), and wanted to share them with the group! I know I've got rotten timing in terms of Oregon weather, but I can't wait to take any spare dry day to go ride around our beautiful countryside. I live in the Willamette Valley, which has some wonderful backroads, covered bridges, etc. I have affectionately nicknamed my scooter, Jesspa.

Hello Jessica, welcome! Nice gear. I have a white and black Corazzo that I love! Why isn't Jesspa in the picture? We would love to see her. Hope you get many nice days of riding before the nasty stuff settles in.

Hi Jessica and welcome! Your jacket is such a pretty color and will probably be very visible when you're riding. Good choice! Also, I see you have a Scorpion helmet. My husband and I each have Scorpion (full-face) helmets. Love them! I agree with Dage's...We need a picture of Jesspa!!!

Welcome, from a bit north of you!
You live in a beautiful area, terrific for scooting. The Willamette Valley is wonderful!
Our scooting weather here in the Pac NW is usually ok through most of the winter, when every now and then we get a dry spell, though maybe a bit on the chilly side. I have two PGR missions in the next few days and I'm thinking we might be riding in our rain gear. They were predicting a chance of snow at the higher elevations, but I think we'll only be "riding in the rain." This year we even had a group ride on New Year's Day, hoping to set a pattern for the rest of the year, and we were lucky with a lovely, crisp sunny day!
And Jesspa is beautiful!! Congratulations!
