From what I understand, several of the east coast folks that have organized rallies got together and decided to forgo the DC Scootergate rally, the Smallstate rally in RI, ELm City, Charm City, and maybe others they didn't mention, and have one big rally instead. If it works, they may have it in a different state next year. Geared towards the vintage scooterist, but they say they'll be happy to take anyone's money and invite all. I was actually thinking of going, but can't find another female rider who wants to go and share a room. I've never been down there and I am wary of going by myself......motel rooms (not very attractive looking ones).

Corina, do you belong to a scooter club there in NYC? Club members often get together and go in on rooms together to cut expenses.

I am but as of right now, I know of no girl going  and that weekend there is some other type of convention down there so everything will be booked pretty fast. Oh well, maybe I should camp
