I've had fun creating "noticeable" helmet covers in an effort to be more highly visible on the road. I've always gotten good feedback and lots of smiles and "thumbs up" when wearing mine. Even had a police officer thank me for making her job easier (she's heard, "I just didn't see him/her", too often). There are several available for sale on http://www.hotglueandpaint.com/Helmet_Skins.html . There's also a pink one on the home page.

These are so cute! Do you make them for full face?

Thanks ScootRlaxmom and Island Diva. I've been blessed to have many years as an artist/craftsperson. Hubby support is wonderful ! As far as the full face skins...I haven't gotten into making those yet. Kinda waiting to see if the market is even out there, for this type of product. Around here, I've heard female riders say they don't think they are bold enough to wear them.

love them but here in Canada we need to have the DOT letters visible for the coppers to see..these covers would cover up the dot?

If that is the case there, I would do a cut-out at that spot in the back. It could be filled in with a clear vinyl or simply left open. I did one for a ski helmet and did a cut-out for the goggle clip. It was reinforced with an extra layer of heavier fabric around the opening and worked just fine.
