I want to sell my 2007 Kymco S200. It has < 100 mi. on it. I don't want to go bigger, so I'm thinking it would be great if someone wanted to trade a Honda Metro and some cash. What are the odds? I must sheepishly admit that I prefer the Metro. ( When I divorced, I got the Kymco and my X got the Honda.) (And please don't disown me for going smaller!)

Hey some people like Chevys and some people like Fords no biggie it's your scooter!
There seems to be alot of people wanting to move up it should be easier to trade down. Good luck!

Scooterbird - Where are you located? I have an '08 Honda Met in great condition and I'm looking to upgrade. The Kymco People S 200 was the bike I was trying to get, but I can't get financing right now. If you're not too far away, it's possible that we could trade.
Just out of curiosity, what color is your S 200?

Dang!!!! That's pretty far away.  If I could afford to take off work for a few days, I'd borrow a truck, load up the scoot, and take a road trip out there. I always liked Oregon. It's very pretty and green there.
Hmmmm....  I wonder how much it costs to ship a scooter from Vegas to Portland.....

Riding out to meet each other is a great idea.... except that I'd be doing the ride on a 50cc over mountains and then turning around and riding a bike I'm unfamiliar with all the way home. I don't know about Scooterbird, but that's an adventure I don't feel I'm quite ready for yet.

Dang!!!! Now my heart is breaking! The red People S 200 is exactly the scooter I wanted. As you can probably tell, red is my color, too. (And, yes, that is my Met as my avatar.)

ScooterBird - As of this morning, she has about 2645 miles on her. The Met has been my daily driver since I got her last spring. She's garage kept, and has had all her scheduled maintenances. She does have a few light scratches on her front left fairing from a slow speed spill we took two weeks after I got her. She's definitely broken in, and from what I understand 2500+ miles on a Met with good maintenance is nothing. I've never had any problems with her.
But you're right. It couldn't hurt to just look into what shipping might cost.....
I was also looking at the map last night. Maybe borrowing trucks, loading up the scoots, and meeting in Reno could be a possibility, too. Just a thought...

A possibility, if either of you drive: you could rent a small UHaul truck
We did that to transport TurtleDevo's (the husband's) scooter down to SC

I haven't looked at U Ship yet, but everybody else wants at least $500. Besides, it would be nice to see the scoot you're about to become the proud owner of. Maybe Reno . . . . . .
I'm not giving up yet.
I think my scoot is worth $2200. Does the Met have any accessories?
