Nice pictures! We have one of each besides my Frenchie. Our bulldog, Lola, and our shepard, Koda (who is a giant puppy @ 1 yr).

The only one I want to take on a ride is my Frenchie :D

There are several low cost dog carriers at glamourdog.com but they are mainly for bikes, but they should work on a scooter. If you have a black scooter, the coolest seats i've seen are designed for motorcycles, they are a bit pricy but very cool. They are at http://www.pupryder.com

Scooter: Past: Honda Ruckus; Honda Elite 80 and 110
Now: 2009 Honda Metropolitan.
If you have a floorboard a deep, narrow basket or bag works well for little dogs.

I carry my 13lb Bichon Maxi on short, slow rides that way.

Between my feet like that I can keep a solid eye on her.

She LOVES to ride!
