I have had my Lance-a-lot (which I love-a-lot)for 11 months. There is a spot above the speedometer and gas gauge which is a small circle indentation with 2 holes. I was at the scooter shop recently and all the Venice models were the same as mine. I asked the owner and he said if I found out what goes there to let him know! :lol: I was thinking of putting a watch/clock there and then I thought maybe I would find out from other Diva's with the same scooter what they suggest.

Mine is a Chinese Venice clone scooter. It has a plug covering a hole that would be a good place to mount something. I was going to try to mount a cigarette lighter plug in there this winter but my basement is not heated and it was a cold winter. Still plan to do it when I get a chance so I can quickly plug in my battery tender or charge my phone, GSP or whatever while riding.

I have a Diamo 50cc, which has the same body as your Lance Venice. I had also been wondering about that circle with 2 little holes. I figured it was a spot designated for a brand medallion.
These scooters come under so many names - I did extensive online research and found out more than 10 names it's being sold under. Depending on who is the importer from China, they are called Milano, Sicilly, Venice, Venicia, also Motofino, and Argo.. etc, and more. I have a folder with pictures of the same body scooter, with all those different names.
When I was to my scooter repair place, I saw a couple of Argo's. They had a decorative medallion in that spot above the gauges. It looked pretty.

Just like you, I've been thinking to place a small clock/watch there on velcro, but I haven't done it yet. :D I think one might put a medallion with Elvis's face on it, or any of your favorite celebrity/hero. :) Or your beloved pet picture.

I emailed Lance Power Sports and someone in the company sent a reply that they were thinking of putting their logo there but never did. I noticed that there are quite a few scooters that go by different names that look exactly like the Lance Venice model. I think a remember a post where someone said something about patents in China???? I think if I find a little clock/watch that's what i will end up putting there.
