I just posted a couple of pictures. I decreased the image size in Photoshop but they appear too big in the post. What did I do wrong? How many pictures can you post in one message? I know I have a lot to learn.

What size are the pictures? I usually make them around 600x otherwise they get too big.

Ellen, I shrunk them in photoshop to about 380kbs. Is that the proper size?

sweetpea- that's the total file size of your image you need to go to: IMAGE > IMAGE SIZE > enter pixel dimensions in the box on the screen (if landscape format go for 600 pixels wide, if portrait go for 600 pixels high) and the other should change automatically, click OK and then save as a new file name. i'm more of a visual learner so here are some picture instructions: Attachment:

FYI- this image is about 600 high x 800 wide. Attachment:
imgsize2.jpg [ 203.49 KiB | Viewed 261 times ]
hope this helps!

Thanks, Ellen. I recently added a couple of small, yellow butterflies and small small fushia coloured stars. I work at the local hospital and I park next to the main doors. I have a piece of cardboard that I carry in the underseat storage that says, "Sweetpea Parking Only" that I balance up against the brick wall while I am parked there. It gets a lot of laughs.
