I am really stoked about getting it. I have been reading up lots on riding difference with a sidecar and will really take my time getting comfortable with it!!! I will definitely post when I get it

my brother keeps talking about getting a bike with a sidecar...I think he just wants to ride around with his dog. you'll have to let us know how different it rides compared to a normal bike.

I'm really jealous. I would love to get a sidecar for my scooter.
Would be great for grocery shopping! No more bags or 20 pound boxs of kitty litter on the floor board Think my dog would love riding in it too!
Then I have an excuse to buy him a pair of Doggles
Only thing I heard about sidecars is the turning is totally different.
Guess you can't turn on a dime like on 2 wheels.
That you pretty much need a wide berth and take turns slow.

My husband has 2 hacks already and tells me that it is different, but, take your time and take the corners slowly and get the feel for it. I also plan on carrying a couple of bags of litter in the sidecar to help balance the weight around the corners. The sidecar steers like a car. no pushing on the right or left handle to turn. I'll have to keep my wits about me, but we really only travel about 35 anyway and on country roads. I will be extra causious for a long time!

I saw a gorgeous Stella with a sidecar on it at Scooter Shop in Orange, CA. It had a real vintage look to it, really awesome!

LOVE the sidecars...but they don't make them in pink to match my stella
(well that and I can't afford it, lol!)
But I think my dog would LOVE it!

They DO make them in Pink. I was considering ordering the pink and they had 2 in stock in Chicago last month. I actually have to wait for my tangerine one as they have none in stock right now. I love the pink but DH won't ride with me if I get the pink!!!!

Hi Devilgirl, thought I would double check and if you go to the Scooterworks website and look at the 10" sidecars they list the pink as an option. They show they are all on backorder, but at least you could get a pink one if you want one!! I talked to my dealer today and he says my Tangerine bike/sidecar should arrive in 10-14days. Then he will assemble it and I can pick it up after that. I am sooooooo excited!!! I rode my Scarabeo 150 a couple of times last week as the weather has been really nice here in Northwest Ohio.
